Infographic: Demystifying the Foster Care System

SocialWork@Simmons created an infographic illustrating the harsh realities of the foster care system in the U.S. According to the 2010 Census, 402,378 children are living in the foster care system whereas only 101,840 are actually available for adoption.  If you would like to find out more about adopting a child from the Texas, Oklahoma, or Arkansas foster care system, please check out Gladney's New Beginnings Adoption Program
