NOTE: Due to the current slowdown that all agencies are experiencing with Ethiopian intercountry adoptions and the current number of families in the Gladney queue, we are not accepting applications at this time for our Ethiopian program.
The Gladney Center for Adoption is registered by the Ethiopian Ministry of Justice to place children from Ethiopia with U.S. citizens. Infants, toddlers, sibling groups, and older children are available for adoption through this program. Families will make two trips to Ethiopia during their adoption process - one to appear in court to affirm their desire to adopt their child(ren) and a second to escort their child(ren) home to the United States.
Gladney staff is committed to assisting families interested in adopting from Ethiopia. To learn more about adopting from Ethiopia, please request one of Gladney's free, comprehensive Adoption Information Packets. Make your request on-line or by calling 1-800-INT-ADOP.
